Is it easier to get an auto loan through a credit union that your a member of?
On the average yes. It is even better if you have direct deposit on your account.

You will also find a better APR from a credit union.

They are also a convenient place to get a secured loan through your savings account.

You do have to keep a minimum in your savings account but it usually is a small amount, around $25.

Hope this answers your question.

It should really save you time to just get a car loan price online to check out what the going rates are. You might be totally happy. Also if your credit is not so great, a lot of them are more willing to work with people.

What I usually tell friends is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is what I would do.
