Can you return a car back to the dealership if they haven't found a bank to finance the auto loan after 1 mo?

I no longer work and thought I could afford to make payments when I had a job. The dealership hasn't found a bank to finance me because all the credit union that called me to verify credit and employment, I told them I was not employed (which is the truth). So the loans was denied.

Yes, and you should return it as soon as possible. Until a bank signs off on the deal, it legally belongs to the dealership.
Reply:You mean you are driving a car that you don't own or have any legal ties to ? The dealer let you take this car without any payments ? I would just keep driving it until they ask for it back. By the way, how is this gift registered and insured. It would be even sweeter if you had dealer plates on it . You'd be driving just for the price of gas . SWEEEEET !!!
Reply:Yes, they will want the car back. But I am sure you signed a disclosure stating the fees if you return the car.
Reply:Call them. I would think they would want it back if they weren't getting paid for it.
Reply:This is your big break,...turn the darn car in now before they find something to charge you for!
