I have a question about an auto loan?

I'm 18 and I don't have my license, and I was planning on getting an auto loan and is it possible to get the car from the loan and let my dad drive it until I get my license?

Auto finance is what I do for a living and the correct answer is no you can not.

Due to the privacy laws every dealer in the nation must make a copy of each customers valid drivers license even for cash deals.
Reply:Do not buy a car until you have a license and can afford insurance. There are always good deals. And at your age, unless you get a cosigner on the loan, you will not get financed in today's credit markets.

Reply:Why don't you save the money to buy the car or at least a solid down payment? You don't need the car yet so that gives you time.
Reply:Depends on your state, but probably not if you don't have a driver's license.
Reply:yeah it is.
